Hello all~ Does anyone happen to know Maria Negroni's office phone number or know where I could find it? I've looked all over MySLC and can't seem to find it. I'm an alum and not up on what's going on at the school, do professors even keep phones anymore? Thanks!

2 baby bunnies
teawrists
I have two baby bunnies that I need to get rid of. They are so cute and love each other and really well behaved. They love to cuddle. I am looking for a good home and am asking a 30 dollar adoption fee to make sure they don't just go to a bad situation. I am located on the SLC campus and don't want to give them to someone in a dorm room, I would prefer someone off campus. I can give you a huge cage that goes with them and a water feeder thing. please email me at catsinspaceee@yahoo.com if you or someone you know is interested. Thanks.

Contact Info?

Does anybody know the contact emails for the Queer Variety Coalition and/or Hillel? I'm an alum (class of '06), and I'm the frontman for an all-trans all-Jewish polka-punk band. We'd really like to play a show at Sarah Lawrence.

Does anyone know which drama school is preferable, Stella Adler or Atlantic?  The classes are part-time.

Hey all,

So I'm looking for someone to sublet a room and thought I'd ask the slc community first. Just graduated in the spring and moved into an upper west side apartment. My roommate is planning on moving out in September however and I need someone to take her place. The place is right on Broadway and across from Riverside park - really nice area. Rent would be about $1,000 a month.

If anyone's interested shoot me an email at alevy@gm.slc.edu

Thanks!

Wheelchair Access in SLC Housing?
pamsfriends
Hello!

I am currently working on a novel that takes place at SLC (they say write what you know, right?). One of my main characters is in a wheelchair, and despite the obvious challenges our ridiculously hilly campus presents, he applies early and gets in.

Here lies the problem: where would he be put? I checked a map of the campus (I haven't been up there since Song Night) and the map seems to suggest that the only dormitory elevator is in the new dorms, specifically Rothschild. Are there any other rooms that would be accessible to him without an elevator (i.e. on the first floor with no step up)? I seem to remember AC 4 being flush with the ground but again, he's a first-year. Would MacCracken work? I can't remember if there's a step where the path to the doorway ends.

I haven't really been able to find much of any use from the disability services section of the SLC website beyond some request form thing that requires a login I don't have, and the only wheelchair experience I have on campus is from junior year when my mom was sick; the accessibility thing wasn't an issue because she could get up if she had to (don't worry, she's doing much better now) whereas this character will never walk again.

July Sublet in Central Harlem
mysticalglitter
I'll be traveling for a few weeks in July and am looking for someone to sublet my huge, furnished room in New York City's Central Harlem neighborhood. If you think you might be interested or know someone who might be interested, read on.

I will be gone July 6-July 22, so ideally I'm looking for someone who is interested in that period of time. Less is fine, but more probably wouldn't work. The monthly rent is $760 with an additional $50 for utilities, so the prorated rent for the time I'll be gone would be about $450. If you're interested in a shorter time period, I'd be happy to discuss.

The room is about 14 x 9 with hardwood flooring and colorful walls. It has a twin bed, a desk, a dresser and a comfy chair. There is also a window air conditioner you can use. The room is situated in a great 5-bedroom apartment with wonderful housemates - a waitress/actress , two bartenders, and a playwrighting student. The apartment has a large common room and a sunny kitchen. The apartment building has an elevator, a doorman, and a nice lobby. There's a laundromat in the same building, but you have to go outside to get to the entrance.

The apartment is located just four short blocks from the 2/3 125th Street stop. The A, C, B, D, 4, 5 and 6 trains are also within easy walking distance, as is the Metro North. Central Harlem is a very safe, vibrant and historic neighborhood. The Apollo Theater and the Studio Museum of Harlem are nearby, and there are lots of African and Caribbean restaurants. Central Park is just a lovely stroll away.

If you're interested, email me at eliza.snelling@gmail.com. Feel free to pass on this information to anyone you know who might be interested.
